WhatsApp has rolled out a new ‘sticker search’ feature

As we all know it, WhatsApp is one of the most used messaging apps out there up til date even though Signal has launched. Even though the app faced a strong backlash from the public across the globe, the app is still widely being used by a good amount of people.

Basically, this stunning app that allows users to connect with others via messages, voice messages, video and voice calls, and much more. The launch of this app was in February of 2009. WhatsApp was acquired by Facebook in 2014 for a total of a whopping USD 16 billion.

Generally, every mobile app for Android does face some sort of weak point which creates backlashes sometimes. What was faced by WhatsApp at the beginning of this year has made the app be very precautious of whatever they do and release for it’s users. The company is now taking baby steps in order to make sure that they position themselves properly.

Earlier, the app allowed its users to only search for emojis and GIFs but recently the social media platform tweeted that they will be releasing a new feature where stickers can be searched.

Once this feature is rolled out in the next update, it will become super easy users to send someone exactly what they want to based on their conversation. This sticker search feature will be available for both Android and iOS users worldwide.

The sticker feature was announced by ‘WABetainfo’ so it is sure news that this is going to happen in Q2 of 2021.

The backlash made WhatsApp lose many of their regular users to WhatsApp’s rival apps Signal, Telegram and WeChat. The competitor apps are always launching some really cool features from time to time.
