Gionee Max launched in India with Android 10 at Rs.5,999

The Gionee Max which was teased last week has now arrived in India. This Gionee handset is a pure entry-level smartphone having Spreadtrum’s SC9863A SoC with 2GB of RAM.

As per source, the Gionee Max is powered by Android 10 and has 32GB of storage onboard, but it also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to a huge amount of 256GB.

This Android 10 powered device has a 6.1″ HD+ display screen, that has a notch up top for the 5MP selfie camera. Furthermore, it has a stunning 13MP primary camera joined by a Bokeh camera with resolution that is not yet specified.

The sad part is that it does not come with a fingerprint reader, but you do get the Face Unlock feature which is quite okay.

Powering this entire package is a 5,000 mAh battery, which supports reverse charging.

The Gionee Max comes in three colors as you can see above – Black, Red, and Royal Blue. This Android smartphone from Gionee retails on Flipkart at Rs.5,999/-. The device will will go on sale in India from 31st August 2020 online.
