The Xiaomi Poco F1 smartphone created by Xiaomi Inc, got the MIUI 10.3.4.0 update in the month of April which gave the phone Widevine L1 support that enabled the users to stream HD content on sites that offered video viewing on apps like Netflix and Prime Video.
It also helped users to get game turbo that helps in improving performance and the interaction with notifications while gaming. After two months it is now set to receive the MIUI 10.3.5.0 update which gives Android security patch level to May 2019 which happens to be an increased system security.
This new build measures 390MB in size and comes with a customizable lock-screen clock which one can access by going to Settings > Lock screen & Password > Advanced Settings Menu. Pocophone users can now choose clock position even on the lock screen.
Users can choose between Centered, Left-aligned, and Vertical positions to complement the wallpaper styles on your screen. It is important to note that this feature will not work on third party themes.
The MIUI 10.3.5.0 also optimizes sorting principles for Wi-Fi networks it also fixes an issue faced by several users where dual apps used to disappear after reboot.
Some users reported that they had received the update notification and suddenly went missing leading to a lot of confusion.
If you had received the update prompt and then it suddenly disappeared you do not need to worry at all and assume that the update has been pulled out. Xiaomi is sending out the OTA update in batches so you are bound to receive it at some point of time.
The MIUI 10.3.5.0 update finds its basis on Android Pie, the global head of Pocophone Alvin Tse, has confirmed that this 2018 flagship phone will get Android Q over a period of time. He did not specify exactly when however.
