Vivo Y15 is official with Helio P22

Vivo Communication Technology Co. Ltd the Chinese technology company has come out with a new phone without much hype about it for the Indian market. This silent move was the showcasing of a new phone the Vivo Y15.

It has a lot of similarity with the announced Vivo Y17. However this comes with a Helio P22 chipset and only 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM.

This phone has a very large 6.35” LCD panel with HD+ resolution that gives you a good viewing experience considering the size of the screen. It also features a water-drop notch.

The front camera is a 16 MP camera which less as compared to the global Vivo Y17. However the sensor is the same and the device is branded as Vivo Y3.

This phone is very affordable and comes in the budget segment. It has three cameras a 13 MP main shooter, an 8 MP wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV and a 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor thus giving you a decent photography experience. It also comes with an LED flash under the set-up and a fingerprint sensor just at the side of it.

The highlight of the Vivo Y15 which will help it in making great sales is a huge 5,000 mAh capacity battery for some good long battery life. With the amount of usage smartphones go through of late a big battery is a must.

The 12 nm chipset however does not support the fast charging feature so you will need to settle for the regular micro USB charging speeds. The phone is priced at Rs.15,990/- ($230/€205).

As far as the aesthetic part goes you get it in either Aqua Blue or Burgundy Red gradients.

We are still not aware of the launch date as it has only been listed as put of stock for now.
