Gionee launched its new M7 Power smartphone in India on Wednesday, 15th November, priced at Rs. 16,999/-. If the name is any indication, the phone is a powerhouse of features, the most notable of which is the massive 5000mAh battery whereas others in the mid-price-range usually have a 3000mAh or a 3500mAh battery. The M7 Power is supposedly the first device from Gionee that has a Full-View display and also has a beautiful 3D photo feature that allows for some mesmerizing clicks.
How does the 3D Photo Feature work?
The 3D Photo feature on the M7 Power smartphone by Gionee allows the user to walk around a certain object such as a monument or sculpture, and create a 3D image from it. They also have the option of sharing a live photograph to show the object from different angles with crisp and enhanced details.
The Full-View Display and Battery
The M7 Power sports a 6.0-inch display to capture even the minutest of details and offers a remarkable 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone was first launched by Gionee in September in China with its M7 counterpart. There’s no official word when the M7 will be launched in India. As for the battery, it’s a behemoth 5000mAh battery that offers long hours of support, which is expected from an M-series smartphone. M7 Power Features and Specifications
The M7 Power is essentially a dual-SIM smartphone that runs the Amigo 5.0 operating system, based on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The large 6.0-Inch HD+ Full-View (720 x 1440 pixels) IPS display offers 18:9 aspect ratio to give a captivating bright display. It even has a Gorilla Glass 3 protection to keep this amazing display secure.
The processor on the M7 Power is a massive 1.4GHz Octa-core, Snapdragon 435. To nail all that power down, there’s a 4GB RAM that allows the M7 Power to run smoothly and efficiently. The rear panel even has a useful finger print scanning feature.
Coming onto the cameras, the front panel of the M7 Power sports an 8-megapixel fixed focus camera that has an f/2.2 aperture. The rear panel of the Gionee M7 Power smartphone has 13-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0aperture. The storage capacity of the M7 Power is 64GB which can be expanded with an additional 256GB via a microSD card placed in the hybrid dual-SIM slot.
Its connectivity is unlimited with the M7 Power because of the 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/A-GPS options. The smartphone even has a Micro-USB, a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio capabilities.
The battery life of this beauty cannot be stressed enough as it provides almost 625 hours on standby and 56 hours of talk time. It’s incredibly lightweight given its size, at 199g. The dimensions of the M7 Power are 156.35×76.65×8.6mm.
