Samsung Galaxy A (2016) series appears in India

Samsung smartphone have not always been a great choice for us here at AndroGuru.com since 2013 but we recently started liking and speaking about the brand since the Samsung Galaxy S6 launch in India. Today we are happy to announce that Samsung has refreshed the Galaxy A series in India. The Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 will be sold in India starting on 15th February 2016. Gold, Black and White will be the only color variants though. It is pretty sad as we were looking at something more consumer centric so that the sales could increase even more making India the largest smartphone market in the world. The Samsung Galaxy A7 2016 will be sold at Rs.33,400/- which is roughly $492 while the Galaxy A5 2016 at Rs.29,400/- approximating up to $433.

As of now we know a little but about both the smartphones. The Galaxy A7 2016 will be sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display screen with an octa-core Exynos 7580 SoC processor backed by 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage that is expandable. On the imaging side, there will be an advanced and competitive 13MP camera with OIS and an f/1.9 lens, a 5MP front camera. As for connectivity, there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi Hotspot, a 3.5 mm Audio Jack and a 3300mAh battery with awesome fast charging features.

The Galaxy A5 2016 will be in a smaller form factor having similar features. The device will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display screen, 2GB of RAM and a strong 2900mAh battery. The neat part is that both these Android 5.1 Lollipop devices will be having fingerprint sensors integrated in the famous Home button. We could be getting extended coverage about various Samsung phones within a few days so stay tuned for more. Also, we will be launching our Instagram channel very soon and AndroGuru will be officially sharing experiences in the form of images.
