Google has officially rolled out the security update for Android users at the start of this month which is purely huge and good news for all Android users using Nexus devices. As the update is rolled out on all Nexus devices there will be fixes to five critical issues with inclusion to four high priority problems and one bug that is on the moderate level. We at AndroGuru.com have checked the update and installed it on all our Nexus line of devices.
All the devices which are running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow that include the Nexus 5, Google Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6 and the Nexus 7 (2013) will receive the update to build MMB29Q. The Nexus 9, Nexus Player and Pixel C will get a patch that is the same as the Nexus 10 devices. This patch has resolved all the eight important issues mentioned by Google. Google has started rolling out the update on a worldwide basis and it will take some time to appear on some devices. If you own any of the Nexus devices above, you will receive a notification or you can check manually for this security update. In 2015, the whole Google Forum was flooded complaints about its Nexus smartphones that included the Huawei Nexus 6P and the LG Nexus 5X. Although there have been many complaints about screen crashes and hanging, Google was able to help out and solve these issues within no time.
