After Facebook acquired the popular photo sharing application Instagram, they have been rolling out updates with amazing changes that users are loving. Recently, Instagram has started a beta program for all Android users wanting to test out the applications upcoming features before they are officially launched on the Google Play Store. The goal of the Beta Program is to collect a huge amount of feedback about the new features and their functionality. It is a good initiative since people will get to see the features and know what Instagram would be like before it is officially launched. We have received over 10-15 mails on a monthly basis where people face the app crashing when they select the photo to edit and upload.
Now, if you would like to become a tester you would have to join the Instagram Beta Group and opt into the Beta Program. Further on, you would have to download the beta version from the Play Store after uninstalling the current version of the app from your device. If you dislike some feature or find any bugs, you could provide feedback or report it using the “Report a Problem” option. The company team will work on considering the feedbacks and provide the best user experience when the update is officially launched.
