We came to know yesterday what was in store for us from MediaTek for 2015. We have just got information via a leaked image on Twitter by @leaksfly that shows off the plans of Qualcomm for 2015. According to source, the image reveals information about the new Snapdragon 820, Snapdragon 815 and various other mid-ranged SoC’s. We are happy to get this information after hearing about the Bangladesh suspicious activity. On the other hand, Micromax has listed the Bolt A066 on their official website.
The Snapdragon 820 could be featuring an octa-core setup with eight TS2 high-performance cores that would surprise various gadget enthusiasts across the globe. It is impressive that the company might be ready to iterate on the 810 so quickly and release to the world a fully custom core in the second half of 2015 when all expect to see the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The Galaxy Note 4 is preferred by many but at the same time people still love the HTC One M8. The clock speeds of the Snapdragon 820 has not been revealed yet. We do know that this SoC will come with an Adreno 530 GPU and LPDDR4 RAM. It will also support MDM9X55 LTE-A Category 10 networks and would be using the advanced Samsung / GF ‘s 14nm FinFet process. We are not shocked to hear all these high end specifications as we knew what the company could deliver.
