As you will all know that WhatsApp Messenger is owned by Facebook and the company is working on making it better so that it sustains for the long run as the best messaging service. A few weeks ago we shared news that WhatsApp is working on a voice calling feature with screenshots that would be released via an update soon. We have shared below a proof that the update with voice calling would also have a ‘Call via Skype’ feature in the app.
MakTechBlog first spotted the above code snippet while exploring WhatsApp Messenger on the iPhone. In addition, the snippet has also confirmed that other voice calling features such as Mute Call, Hold Call, Notifications while on Call, Call Back, Call me in (X) minutes and even a separate screen for call logs.Apart from this snippet, there are traces of a Driving Mode feature that would either work like a Do Not Disturb feature or would read out messages and calls aloud automatically so that driving is safer for all. WhatsApp is being used by millions of users across the globe and there would be no need of installing any other app to be safe on road if the company integrates the Driving Mode feature into the app.
We would love to know what you think about Call via Skype and Driving Mode on WhatsApp Messenger. Do feel free to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
