There was a lot of disappointment in 2014 when OnePlus signed a deal with Micromax and when they later changed it everything was back to normal. On the quiet, OnePlus has been developing their own Android 5.0 Lollipop based ROM for the OnePlus One. Cyanogen has announced that they will be providing an early build to customers which is supposed to replace the Cyanogen OS on their devices.
Cyanogen has released an Alpha build of the ROM on their forums for download and flashing as of now. This Alpha ROM looks pretty much identical to stock Android Lollipop on various Nexus devices. We been using a OnePlus One for more than a day with the latest ROM and notice minor changes here and there which include physical navigation buttons.
Since this update is an Alpha build of Android 5.0 Lollipop, there will be be many bugs you will find while using. Apart from the new ones, there are many bugs that are listed on the forums. On the forum you will be able to view the clear steps on how to go about installing the ROM. Also note that the HP 7 Plus Tablet Giveaway is closed. We will be declaring the winner of the Giveaway soon. Do stay tuned to our YouTube Channel for more giveaways like this…….Happy New Year 2015 !!
