Week 4 – Condensed Android

Merry Christmas 2014Well, at last week have reached the end of one fruitful year with a lot to learn and share. It feels great for us that you have stayed tuned to for Condensed Android and we are delivering you the latest and the biggest tech news of the week.

A international hacker group named ‘Anonymous‘ has leaked more than 13,000 passwords from various sites such as Amazon,Walmart and Playstation Network among many others. Along with this they have posted a pirated copy of the movie ‘The Interview’ all over the world. Although this was not the biggest password leak yet, it surely makes us understand the importance of constantly changing passwords and reporting unusual activity in your account immediately.

This holiday season Amazon signs 10 million new prime members.The growing effect on the gadget world by e-commerce sites can be seen in India as well with people deciding to buy products online due to the lucrative offers. Statistics also show that in 2015 we can see a rapid increase in money spent by an average Indian in buying products online. This year the average money spent in buying products and services online was measured up to Rs.6,000/- while it is expected to hit the Rs.10,000/- mark by the end of 2015.

Samsung is still trying to break itself free from Android by launching products with its own OS named ‘Tizen’. Till now we have only noticed a few smart-watches and a camera that runs on’Tizen’. Tizen also has a very small app list so that will be a disappointment for the probable customers. Samsung has officially announced to launch a television running on Tizen for the Q1 of 2015. That is all for the week and we are all set to meet our enthusiastic readers, developers and Android lovers next year and also promise to bring more innovative ways to make you more aware of the Android world.
