WhatsApp Messenger was bought by Facebook earlier this year on 19th February 2014. Since Facebook has started updating the app, there have been so many changes in terms of the whole layout as well as new features like the latest one of “blue ticks” for delivery acknowledgement. Apart from buying WhatsApp Messenger, Facebook has also bought Instagram. A few days after the company took over WhatsApp, the messaging service was down for a few hours. Later in the news was a promise by the company that Voice Calling feature will be integrated into the app soon. Since everything is in Facebook’s hand now, they are working a lot in making the feature available for all their Android, Windows and iOS users soon.
According to leaked screenshots provided by source, we would say that Voice Calling is going to be out soon and the entire layout of WhatsApp will be revamped making it look excellent on all Android 5.0 Lollipop devices. Just like Voice Notes, voice calls can be made for hours together via 2G, 3G, 4G and even Wi-Fi. Voice Calling on a 2G network band will not be so good as you may all know so 3G and 4G would be the perfect to carry out smooth calls. A feature for recording may be added as normal calls from your phone usually have a recording button. All outgoing and incoming calls from WhatsApp Messenger will not be recorded as it will cause an issue for space on device.
