HTC has unwrapped the well awaited mid ranged specification Android powered smartphone, the Desire 620 officially in Taiwan. This Dual-SIM powered Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone will be available in two variants i.e Desire 620 with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC and Desire 620G with a MediaTek MTK MT6592 SoC. Both of them have identical features except for processor and storage.
Both the Desire 620 and Desire 620G sport a 5 inch 720p display screen, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The Desire 620 storage can be expanded up to 128GB while the Desire 620G up to 32GB via a microSD card. Both the Android powered smartphones have a 8MP primary camera with a 1080p video experience and Eye Experience, a 5MP secondary camera and a 2100mAh battery inside. The HTC Desire 620 supports LTE while the Desire 620G supports WCDMA.
According to source, the HTC Desire 620 and Desire 620G will hit market shelves in Taiwan by 1st December 2014. In terms of pricing, the Qualcomm Snapdragon powered device will cost TWD $6,990 while the MediaTek powered version will be priced at TWD $4,990. We presume that both the devices will be shipped to various other countries anytime after the release in Taiwan even though there is no word about the availability in international markets.
