Xiaomi launches Redmi Note and Redmi Note 4G

Xiaomi Redmi NoteWe hope you have heard that Xiaomi is going to launch the Redmi Note in India within a few more days. The company has decided to launch the Redmi Note alongside the Redmi Note 4G in India. The Redmi Note will be priced at Rs.8,999/- whereas the Redmi Note 4G at Rs.9,999/-.

The Redmi Note will be sporting a comparatively powerful 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 SoC processor which will be backed by 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage that is expandable and a 5.5-inch 720p LCD display screen. This Dual-SIM device supports 3G and 2G, a 13MP primary camera with LED Flash, a 5MP secondary camera and a 3100mAh battery.

As for the Redmi Note 4G, decked inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 SoC processor with 2GB of RAM. All other features are identical but Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will be booting on the Redmi Note and Android 4.4 KitKat on the 4G variant. The Redmi Note 4G is a single-SIM device.

If you are one of the people who took part in the Redmi Note contest that was held on Facebook a few days ago and did not win, you can register for the sale from tomorrow even though the device will be flash sold on 2nd December 2014. The Redmi Note 4G will be sold on Flipkart probably after Christmas this year.

You are in for another surprise as Xiaomi has partnered with Airtel to sell the 4G variant through it’s own stores. The registration for the 4G variant will being in mid-December just in time for Christmas.
