Summary of the WeekHere we are back again to share with you all the important happenings in the Android and technology world for the week. Microsoft has successfully launched its first device without the brand name ‘Nokia’ included. This new device is named ‘Lumia 530’. The Lumia 530 has been launched with certain features such as 5MP primary camera with LED flash and 1GB of RAM which is appreciated. The device has complete rounded corners in a plastic body along with colored back covers.

The recently launched Office Apps currently rule the App Store as all their apps are on the Top 10 Downloads of the Week. Apple’s own home apps have fallen behind Microsoft Office because of their new updated versions and also the fact that Microsoft is also free now.

Google has got a lukewarm reception in the Indian market for its budget device ‘Android One‘. The device has been completely lost in the market’s fierce battle between Indian smartphone brands such as Micromax, Karbonn and the very well known Xiaomi. Both the competitors provide much better features and utility compared to the Android One. Motorola also with its recently launched budget devices has a stronghold on the Indian market. We got to see how far they reach and what changes they make in the market.

Google’s much awaited Great Online Shopping Festival which is also known as GOSF is going to be held pretty soon around 10th to 12th December 2014. We can expect many top brands like Samsung and Motorola launching their devices during this festival. Also this time the festival will also include lifestyle products along with tech gadgets. We will be very soon starting to advise people wishing to buy gadgets through video content and would expect a good response since you’ll all love Android.
