Intex has launched three new Android powered smartphones priced Rs.6,990 onwards under the new ‘Star’ range. The three new devices are named Star, Star HD and Star Power which be available from 29 September 2014 onwards priced at Rs.6,990, Rs.7,490 and Rs.8,690 respectively.

The company has a strong feeling that in the next one month time, the three models cumulatively should sell one lakh units. The dual-SIM handsets run on the latest Android KitKat OS and are powered by a 1.3 Ghz Quad-Core processor which is backed with 1GB of RAM. The Star features a 5 inch display screen, 8MP auto-focus primary camera, 2MP secondary camera and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. There are various connectivity feature also with a 2,000 mAh battery.
The Star Power features a 4.5 inch display screen and a 3,000 mAh battery while on the other hand the Star HD sports a 5 inch screen with 13MP primary camera, 5MP secondary camera and a 1,800 mAh battery. Apart from these three mobiles, Intex is supposed to launch a range of Android One devices very soon.
