The HTC One M8 got updated to Android 4.4.3 KitKat recently. This news for us was a little bit of a surprise as the company has released the Android 4.4.3 update for the original HTC One so soon. According to GSM Arena, HTC One is receiving the update in most parts of Europe with updates confirmed from Romania and Slovakia that not only the unlocked version received the update but also the carrier based phones are getting the update.
Thoughtfully, HTC has decided to take a step which will be appreciated by various users across the globe. The company has decided to incorporate the security fixes from Android 4.4.4 KitKat release into its Android 4.4.3 KitKat update which indirectly means that this update will be the last one for the HTC smartphones until Android L hits in.
The Android 4.4.3 KitKat update is 550 MB in terms of downloading and upon installing the HTC One will be running software version 6.09.401.5 where you will be able to see changes in various in-built apps like the Gallery, Camera and even the Sync Manager. There are some rave feed-backs about the update as well as some disappointing ones.
