After a lot of speculation whether there will be a new Nexus device launched this year on a recent tweet from Android, an unknown Nexus mock model was used which seems to be better than the Nexus 5. Earlier there were reports of Google deciding to stop the Nexus line of production but after this incident and a few online leaks of the tech specifications of the new phone it is pretty clear that Google has the Nexus 6 up their sleeves. It is assumed that the Nexus 6 will be released along with the much awaited Android L.
What is Nexus 6?
This question arises in everybody’s mind. In simple words, I would say that the device is expected to be one of the top phones in the hardware department coming out into the market with Android L and fitting a regular budget.
According to Times of India, the Benchmark tests and leaked images of the Google Nexus 6 shows that the device is running Android L, might be decked with a 3GHz Snapdragon 805 chipset which will be backed by 3GB of RAM. Apart from all the camera details and connectivity features, the Nexus 6 will be sporting a 5.2 inch display screen having a resolution of 1424×2560 pixels which will make the device a strong competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8.The device is said to be powered by an Adreno 420 GPU which will increase the needs of a hardcore gamer making them self sufficient to carry out mobile gaming on-the-go.
The Nexus 6 is supposed to hit the shelves across the globe at a normal pace by October 2014 or November 2014 along with the launch of Android L. The disappointing part about this product is that Google has not yet revealed the approximated price. Basically, if you have not purchased the Nexus 5 earlier, then do not because you can invest in the Nexus 6 soon.
