HTC Desire 610 and Desire 816 officially launched in the U.S

When HTC decides about expanding, they always hit their target of quality and design. Now, the HTC Desire 610 and Desire 816 is officially launched in the United states.

These two new additions to the Desire family aim to offer a premium experience in a more budget-friendly package as both the Desire 610 and Desire 816 come with mid-range specifications on board. One of the most advanced HTC device is the HTC One M8 and is priced really high. The HTC Desire 610 is already available in the U.S. through AT&T at a price of $199.99 on an off-contract basis while the larger HTC Desire 816 will land on Virgin Mobile from 12th August 2014 onwards at $300. The HTC Desire 610 on the company website appears as out of stock on AT&T GoPhone.

In a nutshell, the HTC Desire 610 sports a 4.7-inch display screen with a screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, a 1.6GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor that is backed by 1GB of RAM. Apart from the 8GB of internal storage capacity and microSD card support for additional storage, the device has a 8MP primary camera with BSI Sensor and a 1.3MP secondary camera. The HTC Desire 610 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and houses a 2,040 mAh battery.

The larger device which can be considered as a phablet sports a 5.5-inch HD display screen with a screen resolution of 1920 x 720 pixels, a 1.6GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage capacity. The HTC Desire 816 houses a 13MP primary camera (LED Flash and BSI Sensor) and a 5MP secondary camera. On the software side, the device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with HTC Sense 6 UI and a 2,600 mAh battery.
