Samsung has officially started the roll-out for the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 2 (International Model). This being extremely good news for all Samsung fans across the globe, we would like to state that this firmware will make your mobile system even faster and will bring in a fullscreen album art and a camera shortcut on the lock-screen with a transparent status bar. We had great expectations that this update could have the Samsung Galaxy S5 icons and some features but we presume that the next update will feature something bigger.
Apart from tweaks here and there, the TouchWiz features are decked on and you can experience the best of Samsung with Samsung KNOX and Samsung Wallet plus some other minor goodies that we have come across on various other devices. Make good note that this Android 4.4 KitKat update will not bring in the user interface of the Galaxy S5.
France is the first country to get the update, but more markets should be following very soon. The Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 2 is available OTA so you ought to keep an eye on the Settings->About->Software Update.
