In addition to our report earlier, a group of auto and technology companies announced a new industry alliance called Open Automotive Alliance (OAA) which is aimed at bringing the Android platform to cars commencing in 2014.
Audi, General Motors, Google, Honda, Hyundai and Nvidia have joined together to form the Open Automotive Alliance. The OAA says that it is generally dedicated to a common platform that will drive innovation and at the same time make technology in the car safer and more intuitive for everyone.

Mary Chan (President at Global Connected Consumer General Motors) says;
