Recently, Skype has introduced an intriguing new feature only for Android tablet users which is simply called picture-in-picture mode. This feature could be called a mimic of Facebook’s Chat Heads, but extends it to video calls. As soon as the feature is turned on, the respective chat window will float above other apps and letting users move it to a more convenient part of the screen while they perform other tasks and get back to the window later.
This Skype update with the above feature fixes a good amount of performance bugs and improves video messaging quality to a good extent. It also makes it easier to scroll through long lists of contacts with a pinch gesture.
