Samsung suspends the Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S3


Almost two weeks ago Samsung started seeding the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to its Samsung Galaxy S3 which is the ex-flagship of the company and the update brought in a variety of new features and support for the Galaxy Gear smart-watch, but was plagued by lots of issues.

Multiple adopters of the update reported that their Samsung Galaxy S3 is becoming unresponsive on different occasions and even crashing and being incapable of proper multi-tasking due to poor RAM manager.

Major issues in the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3

  1. Lag in wake up
  2. Freezing randomly
  3. Huge battery drain
  4. Bluetooth Audio problems during playback in car
  5. Stuttering music playback via Samsung Music app
  6. As soon as call is received the device freezes
  7. Poor RAM management
  8. Wi-Fi

In accordance with reports and comments, the Samsung Galaxy S3 update has been pulled from Kies and the OTA service has been suspended. In all good hope, we would be glad if Samsung resolves the issues persisting as soon as possible and resumes the update roll-out shortly.
