Samsung’s Analyst Day event in Korea gave us some insights about what Samsung is planning to do with their display technologies in 2014. Samsung stated that it was planning to implement 560 ppi displays on all their flagship devices in 2014. This indicates that the Galaxy S5 will feature this display technology thus is destined to make its display the sharpest and the brightest in the market unless some of Samsung’s competitors come this something equally spectacular.
This display on around a 5 inch screen will mean that the device will have a resolution of 2560 x 1440. This display is dubbed to be called the Super AMOLED FHD + but we can not say that for sure. Now, it seems like the Samsung Galaxy S5 might be the first Samsung handset with such a display, as it is in line to be the company’s next flagship device.
Some of our highly placed sources tell us that Samsung has finished its work on this display technology and is ready to mass produce them. Samsung Display CEO Kinam Kim has confirmed this news a few days earlier. We would be really amazed to see this super high resolution screen on the Samsung Galaxy S5 given that FHD screens also look splendid.
