BBM has received an update to version 1.0.2.83 which brings in improvements and few feature changes along with a lot of bug fixes to some previously known issues.
In the current updated version, users can now create Contact Categories which allows users to organize friends in better way. The contact list sorting and filtering on the BBM for Android is also the additional feature and besides the usual options of adding friends users can invite BBM contacts to BBM Groups via Email. In terms of bug fixes, there have been certain performance improvements and issue of higher battery usage is taken into consideration and solved for the same. BBM coming to Android has changed the full social system as more people who switched over to Android from BlackBerry are getting connected with their friends.
BBM for AndroidSharing your PIN allows users to quickly share the BBM PIN and the PIN bar-code to your social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. The Tell your friends feature is an addition to the social section which allows users to connect with friends on BBM using sharing tools and BBM has created for the same.
