Google Now which initially launched on the Jelly bean is Google’s very own voice search engine. It went head to head with Apple’s Siri and beat it in almost all aspects. It is considered to be the best voice search engine till date. And there is some good news. With the new and improved Kitkat OS Google takes its voice search to an all new level.
“Okay Google” is the only phrase you need now to activate the touch-less search. It now even allows you to unlock your phone using your voice. The voice recognition also has been improved and the Google Now interface has also been revamped. Overall, speech recognition is said to have been made 25% more accurate and now users will be able to access the Now app by a flick from the left of the screen. Google Now now will also provide “deep links” to applications you installed on your phone which we consider to be a breakthrough feature. We just can not wait to put this revamped version through its paces. More updates to follow in the future. Stay tuned.
