Yesterday, Microsoft has released Remote Desktop apps for Android which lets all Android smartphone users control their Windows PCs on the go but there was no Windows Phone version in sight. Speaking fortunately, there is something that the company is working quickly to fix and as per TheNextWeb– a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed that a Remote Desktop app for Windows Phone was in the process of works though there is no specific time-frame or time slot for that launch yet.
The statement reads :-
Remote desktop on phones is a relatively rare usage scenario and that we are working on a version of the app for Windows Phone and we will be able to share the time-frame at a later point in time.
What is surprising is to see is Microsoft’s own OS play second fiddle to the iOS and Android platforms, but hopefully Windows Phone users will not have count the days to pass by.
