Samsung Electronics announced the slim curved Android smartphone named the ” Galaxy Round ” in Korea and the shocking part is that this Android smartphone features a curved display which is made with the world’s first commercialized full HD Super AMOLED flexible display. The grip of the device is stunning and strong even when the phone is curved horizontally or vertically.
The back cover of the Galaxy Round features a leather-and-stitch-inspired design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Since there is no provision for SIM card and no Wi-Fi feature means that we did not get to review the communication section of the device. Nevertheless, there are some default photos and videos which you could view.
The Interesting factor which also makes it as the USP ( Unique Selling Point ) of the Galaxy Round is the ” Roll Effect ” which uses the curved body of the device to enable the user to check the date, missed calls notifications , time, battery level , etc by slightly ‘rolling/tilting’ the device over towards one side when the home screen is off or in locked mode. A video provided below will give you a better idea of the ” Roll Effect ” on the Samsung Galaxy Round.
