A U.K.-based online grocery store named Tesco today it’s first tablet called the ” Hudl ” which is 7-inch and is pronounced as ” Huddle “. The tablet boasts a 1.5GHz Quad-Core Processor and Dual and Wi-Fi for watching movies on the go or perusing your grocery list on the move as per source.
The Tesco Hudl is powered by an Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS and includes including blink-box streaming, a music player which has good features , Club-card TV for subscribers, online banking, and various shopping options.
Philip Clarke ( CEO of Tesco ) said in a statement ;
Customers are quite rightly very discerning about the technology they buy so we knew we had to be competitive on all fronts.
The Hudl will hit shelves in U.K from 30th September 2013 onwards with a £119 ($191) price tag and four color variants to choose from such as black, blue, purple, and red. Tesco Clubcard holders can pick up the tablet at a discounted sub-£100 cost so if you are one of them you are in the spot to avail a discount. There is no say about when the Hudl will be released in the U.S markets so stay tuned as we will be covering more on the same.
