The BlackBerry Messenger also widely know as BBM for the Android and iOS platform has been delayed and reported of the same. The reports say that the app was not fully developed and has some issues that had to be rectified before download. On 21st September 2013 many Android users around the globe got downloaded fake BBM apps which were uploaded on the Google Play Store. Officially , we at AndroGuru put this fact forth that BBM for Android is not yet released and the company is working to get it on the Google Play Store as soon as possible.
The BBM app for Android and iOS was supposed to be rolled out on Saturday and millions of iOS users were successful in downloading the leaked version of the app. To their surprise , they were able to use it for some time with a lot of issues and recently it is pulled back by the company.
BlackBerry said that the teams continue to work to bring BBM to Android and iOS platform, but only when it is ready and the company feels the same , it will be released. Blackberry has confirmed that the users who managed to download the iOS build will be able to continue using it but user with the leaked BBM Android app will not. Lastly , the report did not mention the next date for the launch of the BBM app for Android as well as iOS users.
