All ex-Blackberry users who have switched over to Android devices as well as other users are waiting for a long time now for the BBM app for Android. Earlier , we had covered news about the Fake BBM App that was available for download online and even another instance of information about the User Guides that accidentally surfaced online. Now , BlackBerry is soon to come to all Android devices that include smartphones and tablets. There may be one small drawback that it will be available for Android users whose devices are powered by Android 2.3 and above only. There is nothing clear made as such but , we presume. It is very much expected that BlackBerry could make the official announcement as early as next month i.e this October 2013.

Moving a bit away from the Android platform , the BBM app for iOS users has already been submitted to Apple for approval more than two weeks ago and the company should receive an update very soon as per source. The delay could be because reports quoted sources saying that there are two minor glitches in the app that are being sorted out before it can be released to the public worldwide.

In support to the approval by Apple , Alex Kinsella ( @alexkinsella ) stated in his tweet couple of days ago ;

Just in case we forgot to mention, BBM for iPhone was submitted for review 2 weeks ago.
