People are looking out for tablets which are priced below $100 but are unable to find good brands for the same. Smartphones and tablets today are mostly powered by the Android operating system. When it comes to processing speed and hardware , users want a fast functioning device that can compete and satisfy with their tasks. Intel has jumped into the box now by stating that future Android tablets with Intel inside will approach two-digit pricing ( $100 ) packing a new Intel chip. The model and other details about the chip have not been announced by the company.
Chris Walker ( General Manager for Tablet Processors at Intel ) told the source today that the upcoming Atom-based tablets will appear at the $100 price and Walker was echoing comments made earlier in the day by CEO Brian Krzanich. Chris Walker also added that even though Intel Atom chips run both Android and Windows , the low price point will be for Android.
