Just a briefing for those who are not aware about Qualcomm Technologies which is the company that has developed the first ever Envelope Tracking (ET) chipset for a 4G mobile device and in accordance with this , it creates a big gaga time for the mobile industry.
Qualcomm also known as QTI has finally delivered one of the industry’s most waited radio technologies called the ET. ET was a project in which a lot of Research and Development was done and proves as a complex mobile RF technology and is finally seeing light of day in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. When it comes to Android , there is always something that thrills in it’s own way. Samsung being the world’s largest smartphone seller has bloomed over the years to deliver the best and exclusive smartphones and tablets since the Android OS came into the picture.
ET is designed to result in a more reliable amplified signal with up to 20% improvement in PA power efficiency and up to 30% improvement in heat dissipation which directly correlates to longer battery life and not just cooler mobile devices but cooler-looking devices as the reduced heat enables thinner form-factors. In addition to all this packed , the ability to efficiently amplify wider bandwidth LTE signals allows handset manufacturers to design devices with global LTE coverage at lower cost with fewer broadband power amplifiers addressing the wide range of LTE frequencies deployed worldwide.
