What all Android users are waiting for is the Android 4.4 KitKat and the Android 5.0 Key Pie Lime. In between all the development Motorola is making some of the boot-loaders on the Moto X un-lockable by opening the door which will give root privileges, custom recoveries and after-market ROMs. The US Cellular and Sprint networks and the forthcoming Latin American models of the Moto X can now be unlocked using Motorola’s My Moto Care Portal which will guide users through the entire process. For using this portal , all users and dedicated customers will need to first create an account and secondly keep their device ID ready.
Basically, by unlocking the Moto X’s boot-loader will completely void the device warranty even if you never do anything else with it. In inclusion , there are some strict terms and conditions that Motorola will make you agree to which cannot be negotiated by any means nor denied if you want to unlock your boot-loader as per source.
