Lee Young-hee ( Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Mobile Business ) says that the Galaxy Gear has confirmed the entry into wearable devices by declaring that the company will unveil the Samsung Galaxy Gear on 4th September 2013. This kind of technology will create a new innovative experience and thrill to wrist users around the globe.

As per an interview in the Korean Times, Young-hee says that an introduction to a new wearable device concept called Galaxy Gear at an event on 4th September 2013 in Berlin will be showcased as per source. Basically , the smart-watch will enrich and enhance the current smart mobile experience in many ways and will create and lead a new trend in smart mobile communications for the future. Concentrating on features and specification , there are multiple rumors that point towards the Gear coming with a 2.5-inch OLED full color Display and a 320 x 320 resolution on screen , accelerometer and touchscreen gestures. As for powering the device , it will be a Dual-Core 1.5GHz Exynos 4212 Processor, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. Nothing has been confirmed as yet and hence there is not price that has been revealed about the Galaxy Gear.
