A shocking yet interesting thing to know about is that earlier this week , a bunch of zookeepers at Taronga were given access to Google’s augmented-reality eyewear ” Google Glass ” in a bid to see how the technology can assist in the care and treatment of animals and to note the extent at the same time. The animals were not given a chance to try on the glasses for themselves which would have made for a more interesting video but whatever was recorded can be seen in the video provided below.

Taronga Zoo explained on their website :

We had the opportunity to try out Google Glass this week, and our keepers were curious to see if it would help them in caring for the animals. It also gave the rest of us the chance to see the animals through the eyes of the keepers, as they went behind-the-scenes to work with the koalas, eagles, giraffe and a sooty owl.

Animals today are not taken care of in many parts of the globe and this invention by Google can turn into a help in some way. Humans are responsible for the deterioration of the health of animals. Some animals have become extinct over the years and it technology can help them survive then ” Why not ??
