As most of you may know that the Vivo V11 Pro is a fantastic phone as per the reviews online by hundreds of users. The Vivo V11 Pro just received a massive price cut ahead of the Vivo V15 Pro so now the Vivo V11 Pro sells at Rs. 23,990/- in India.
For those of you who are unaware about the launch, it was launched in India with Android Oreo. As of now, the smartphone is reportedly receiving Google’s latest Android 9 Pie software.
Some Vivo V11 Pro users in India have already received the Android 9 Pie update while others are expected to get it soon.
Since Vivo will be rolling out the update in a phased manner it will take some time. This simply means that if you are a V11 Pro user and haven’t received the Pie update on your phone till now, well, you might need to wait for some more days or weeks.
Vivo has not officially announced the Android 9 Pie update for the V11 Pro as the company is testing the software with a limited number of units for now.
We can expect the company to push out the software update to all V11 Pro devices soon after the testing process is complete.
Anmol Kumar, who is a Delhi based user of the V11 Pro received the Android 9 Pie update on the phone and quickly posted a screenshot of the change-log.
The screenshot reveals that the update measures 3.11GB in size, and brings in a new look for the user-interface, an upgraded shortcut centre, along with various other updates. You will also be able to notice the presence of a system-wide Dark Mode in the shared screenshot.
The Vivo V11 Pro is beautified with a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display screen with a 2340 x 1080p resolution, aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and screen to body ratio of 91.27%.
As for the hardware, this smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 artificial intelligence engine (AIE) processor that is backed by 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage that can be seamlessly expanded via a microSD card. The phone is backed by 3400mAh battery with a dual engine fast charging support.
The V11 Pro includes dual pixel rear cameras with a primary sensor of 12MP paired with an aperture of f/1.8 and 1.28-micron pixels and secondary sensor of a 5MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture for portrait shots. On the front, the Vivo phone comes with a 25MP camera with an aperture of f/0.2.
