Panasonic’s Indian division has heated up things in India’s market for Android smartphones by announcing its latest smartphone Eluga A4. Eluga A4, which is an Android phone competing in the midrange segment of India’s growing smartphone market, offers a lot to the users.

This newly unveiled device comes equipped with a 5.2 inch LCD panel. The LCD panel features a high quality HD display of 1,280 * 720 pixels, which amounts to a conventional ratio of 16:9.

The Panasonic Eluga may come with a small screen, but that’s quite frankly the only thing small about it as the smartphone has set many hearts racing with a battery size of 5,000 mAh. The battery is expected to perform brilliantly by running for over a day on a single charge.

The emphasis on battery size makes the Eluga A4 join the prestigious club of numerous other Panasonic phones that have been focused on providing battery time that attracts users who do not want to go through the hassle of plugging their phones more than a zillion times in a day. The high battery size also ensures that you get to enjoy outdoor excursions without having to worry about the longevity of your battery or your smartphone running out of charge.

Although the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) from Japan has yet mention the exact model of the chip found inside the anticipated device, the set is said to have a quad core 1.25 GHz processor under the hood. If this was not enough, the phone comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage that can be expanded to 128 GB through the use of a microSD card.

While bezel-less phones are the rave in the smartphone market, Panasonic has kept it simple with traditional borders that accommodate a 5MP front camera on the top. The 13 MP rear camera is as functional as they come nowadays and is complemented with a LED flash unit.

The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with the OEM’s ARBO assistant. The assistant is designed to help users in managing their reminders, appointments and tasks.

The phone leaves nothing to be desired as it comes with a 4G LTE connection for the Internet savvy Indian population. By offering such features in a meager price tag of Rs. 12,490/-, the phone will virtually compete with all other competitors providing value to the smartphone hungry audience in India.

While competition is tough, Panasonic believes that the Eluga A4 comes equipped with the arsenal necessary for brushing aside competing phones. The phone will be sold by all of Panasonic’s authorized brick and mortar distributors across the country and will not be available online.
