Yes, folks, this is what we’ve all been waiting for so patiently. The Moto X4 is finally being launched in India officially. You all may remember from one of our previous posts that this phone is going to be Flipkart exclusive.

We can hardly contain ourselves. From the day it was first introduced at IFA 2017, it has captivated us with its dual camera setup and sleek design.

It supports both Amazon Alexa as well as Google Assistant as it comes fitted with Android Nougat 7.1.1. Another one of its attributes is that it features IP68 dust and water resistance.

Prices have been leaked and put the Moto X4 at Rs. 23,999/- which is way lower than its original unveiled price at IFA 2017 which was Rs. 30,300/- or €399/-.

Catch the Launch – LIVE!

The official launch of the Moto X4 was supposed to be on October 3rd, 2017 but the date was since delayed, the probable cause being the deal between Motorola India and Flipkart to make the phone exclusive to Flipkart upon its launch.

The live launch event for the Moto X4 is scheduled to begin at 2:30pm IST in NewDelhi. Watch it here as it happens live, so you don’t miss out on all the action.

Quick Recap of Some ofMoto X4’s Features and Specs

Let’s quickly have a look at the features and specs of the Moto X4. It sports the Android Nougat 7.1.1 and while it does have a single Nano SIM option, the variant in India is said to have dual-SIM support.

The display is a beautiful and crisp 5.2-inch full -HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS IPS display. This comes loaded with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection and a pixel density of 424ppi.

The glass allows for a beautiful pattern to form on the phone naturally in abundance of light. The power processor for the Moto X4 isa 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC and has an Adreno 508 GPU and 3GB of RAM to boot.

The internal storage may be at a humble 32GB but the Micro SD card slot allows this to be expanded to a mammoth 2TB of space. That’s more than what some premium quality computers sport these days. The Moto X4 comes with a 3000mAH battery.

Onto the cameras. The Moto X4 has one amazing dual-cam setup in the back. The disk housing the cameras is particularly captivating as it shines bright like a diamond if looked at from certain angles. One of the cameras is 12 and the other is 8 megapixels.

The pixel size for each is 1.4 and 1.12-micron pixels respectively and while the former is dual autofocus with f/2.0 aperture, the latter is an ultra-wide angle sensor with 120° field of view and f/2.2 aperture.

There’s CCT dual-LED flash support for these two as well. The dual cameras allow professional mode photos, selective focus, spot colour, slo-mo, ultra-wide shots, depth effects and a whole host of other features. There’s also a front camera of 16 megapixels and f/2.0 apperture with flash support that allows for crisp selfies.

There’s a ton of other features that you can watch on the live streaming video on YouTube for the Moto X4 launch to find out more on this beautiful machine.
