A teaser from the Chinese phone maker Meizu, indicates that the Meizu Pro 7 Android mobile phones lineup suggests that the brand might be launching in India. It’s a premium Chinese Brand that makes high quality android devices.

Meizu’s local division announced on Twitter that more information about the availability of the premium Meizu Pro 7 phones would be released real soon. This means that the long awaited smartphones will be taking the Indian markets by storm in the near future.

With the burgeoning growth of smartphones in India, the Meizu Pro 7 will be a welcome addition to the portfolio of smartphones here. The teaser for the smartphone shows the beautiful dual cameras to caputure those precious moments with unmatched clarity.

This dual camera also opens up the Meizu Pro 7 a world of features including AR. The hashtag #BrAPro also supports the fact that the Chinese manufacturer is placing a lot of emphasis on the dual camera.

Features of The Meizu Pro 7

There’s a lot of buzz surrounding this Meizu Pro 7 launch with some being concerned that the Chinese Manufacturer just launching the Meizu Pro 7 and not the Meizu Pro 7 Plus, while others are optimistic based on rumors that both variants of the Meizu Pro 7 family will be available in India.

Both phones are marvels of technology. The smaller Meizu Pro 7 has a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED FHD Display and a 16:9 aspect ratio meaning the display quality will be crisp and detailed. There will also be a 2-inch AMOLED screen on the back of the smartphone which will display the time and the weather. This makes for an overall sleek handset with great features.

The base Meizu Pro 7 model will be featuring the MediaTek Helio P25 chipset while it’s bigger, badder cousin will be on the higher end of dual screen smartphones featuring the MediaTek Helio X30 SoC. No MicroSD card this time around but there will be a 4GB RAM in both models.

The high end Model with the MediaTek X30 SoC has 128GB of internal flash memory while the Meizu Pro 7 has 64GB or memory. The secondary display of the Meizu Pro 7 is accompanied by a dual-camera setup boasting 12 Megapixels with 2 f/2.0 lenses. It even has phase detection autofocus with dual LED flash allowing for a crisper picture, similar to that of a DSLR. There’s a 16MP (f/2.0) module on the top bezel too.

The Pro 7 Plus

The next device in store is the 5.7” Behemeoth Meizu Pro 7 Plus that has two variants as well. Both feature the Helio X30 Chipset and 6GB RAM. The only differentiator is the 128 and 64GB native storage of the variants.

Both Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus have USB-C ports and Bluetooth 4.2 support. They even run the Flyme 6 which is similar to the Android Nougat 7.0 when out of the box. It may even be upgraded to Andriod Oreo 8.0, depending how fast distribution happens.

The starting prices will be Rs. 27,000/- for the base upto Rs. 39,000/-.
