Samsung Galaxy Note S9 & S9+ leaked with new information
Just when you thought the Galaxy Note 8 was a big shot, Samsung is already working on the Samsung Galaxy S9.
Before the iPhone X got the attention, the Galaxy Note was ruling the headlines, but it appears this might change soon with the release of the Galaxy S9.
The S9 concept that has been showcased by various reviewers and tech authority sites is slated to hit the market in 2018 I would like you to note, the S9 is going to be a great surprise.
Here are top things to expect in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9.
Curved on Four Sides
According to a report posted by ETNews, Samsung was working on a lamination process that would make it possible to curve the screen on all four edges. The technology is said to come towards the end of 2017, so the next high end phone from Samsung should have this design.
This means the Samsung Galaxy S9 is likely to feature a curved screen that extends the curvature on all four sides. Samsung has been doing a lot on the design of its gadgets to ensure they are sleek and top of the game, so expect something exciting.
Samsung is likely to use the same size panes on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. Sources reveal that the company has already signed a deal with suppliers for edge-to-edge displays measuring 5.8 inches and 6.2 inches.
Additionally, these displays will be made better by the inclusion of an in-screen fingerprint sensor, which is good news because among the key complaints about the recent phones from Samsung is the uncomfortable placement of its fingerprint scanner, which is positioned next to the rear camera.
Another leak about the Galaxy S9 suggests the phone is likely to have a modular design, which means it will have a system that allows the user to attach or detach modules while upgrading the phone with better features.
Samsung is looking to introduce magnetic pins that will help one to attach external modules and these modules might include better camera lenses, a battery pack as well as additional lenses.
Amazing New Camera
Another tip-off says that Samsung will offer a camera sensor that can shoot at the rate of 1,000 frames per second, and this is in an effort to rival a similar feature used on the Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Premium.
This sensor will get to mass production starting November, which makes it possible to have it included in the S9, especially when you consider other components for the phone are projected to arrive at the same time.
So, what will be the Price?
For now, price leaks are not in supply, but one can take guesses based on the information collected before on pricing.
When they were released, the S8 and S8+ came into the market at £689 and £779 respectively, so you should expect the S9 and S9+ to cost more than their predecessors.
