Goa is one fun destination where the actual fun begins when the sun sets. A global holiday capital, Goa is a place where the young and the hip come to party and have a good time. Goa is a great destination to meet people and have a wild time. This is why; I came up with a list of best dating apps that can be put to good use in Goa. And as I always say – you can thank me later.

Truly Madly

Truly Madly offers a plethora of stickers to help you express things you may find difficult to express in words

Truly Madly is a fun dating app which makes it perfect for Goa. This app makes sure that you have lots of fun while chatting with people you have liked and added. I tried this myself and being a game lover, I was hooked immediately as this app offers you a number of games like Hocus Pocus, Foodie Funda, Styletastic etc to play with people. Moreover, you get a wide range of stickers to help you express things that you might otherwise find difficult to express in words.

To use Truly Madly, you will need to create a profile first (obviously). In case you do not want to create a new log in id, do not worry as you can also use your email id and Facebook profile. Apart from the usual fields like your date of birth, height, city or state, you will be required to choose your hobbies using various hashtags like #TravelBuff, #Artsy, #Foodie. You can even add your own hashtag.

One of the biggest dating apps, Tinder provides you vital information like age and picture of people you find interesting

Tinder has become synonymous with word online dating. One of the most popular apps for online dating. Tinder is unique as it provides user a number of different settings to help him or her date ‘differently’. To start with Tinder you will need to have a Facebook account as Tinder relies on the Facebook verification process.  When you sign in Tinder, you will come across the names, age, picture and short description of people. You swipe right in case you like someone or swipe left if you are not interested. You also get an option of ‘Superlike’ in case you really like someone a lot.

What makes tinder different and more popular is the simple formula that gives users different options to help them personalize their dating experience. You can easily switch off discovery of your profile and only chat to people you have liked. You can also limit your search distance or age to personalize your search even more. Moreover, you can use Tinder Plus in case you do not want to disclose your location.

Woo allows you to get a list of people with similar interest list as yours

Woo is popularly known as the ‘Matchmaking app for singles’. This app works largely on matching people based on their similar interests. What I found great about Woo was that unlike the other apps in this list, here you do not have to reject people you do not like. There is a heart icon that you use in case you like someone and you can message them to know more about them. You can also just swipe right and move on to another person if you are not interested.

The major USP of this app is that it allows you to choose a particular interest tag of a person and the search engine turns up with a list of all the people who have that similar interest. You can also record a 7-second voice message which is displayed on your profile. You can also fill in your religion in a separate slot on the profile page.

Just like Woo, you can browse through numerous profiles and move to another profile without liking or rejecting the previous one

One thing that impressed me about OkCupid was that it caters to a large number of population with different sexual orientation. When I was signing in, it asked me my sexual preference whether I was gay, straight or bisexual and of course my gender.

However, the one thing that I did not like about OkCupid was that it needs you to fill in a lot of information and by far has the most elaborate search filter of all. However, it also means that your search for a partner is even more personalized.

Android Music Players – The best of the best

I am a big Android fan and I make no bones about it. This is why I am very happy whenever I meet an Apple-to-Android convert.
