Infocus India has launched the Infocus Bingo 10 and after looking at the price tag of Rs.4,299/-, it is considered to be the most inexpensive smartphone to be decked with decent specifications targeting users in the younger category who are aged anywhere between 15-24 years. Who is the teenager who would not like a smartphone that bears the marketing title stating “World’s most affordable smartphone running Android Marshmallow” ?

The two catchy things for all youngsters is going to be “most affordable” and “running Android Marshmallow“. I would personally go for it as it offers best of both world’s but thinking logically after having so much experience with build and design of smartphones, I would think twice.

Mr.Sachin Thapar (Country Head of Infocus India) states at the launch;

The wait to own a device with latest Android OS could be great for all those not owning mobiles.  According to a Google’s report only 2.3% of the Android smartphones is on Marshmallow till date. With the launch of InFocus Bingo 10, we look at everyone being able to get the taste of Marshmallow which is still seen as a “thing” of high-end smartphones.

InFocus Bingo 10Under the hood, the Infocus Bingo 10 is powered by a very mediocre Mediatek MT6580A processor backed by 1GB of RAM for wonderful balance and support on a technical stance. Apart from officially running Android 6.0 Marshmallow 6.0 above the Inlife UI 2.0 and having 8GB of internal storage, it has a quite clear 4.5 inch IPS display screen that boasts a screen resolution of 854×480 pixels. On the connectivity front, there is all the usual stuff such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, etc. The Bingo 10 has a 5MP primary camera with LED Flash and 5MP secondary camera for quite good acceptable photos.

Being totally frank, considering the price point the Infocus Bingo 10 is the best available smartphone under Rs.5,000/- in India. We are going to get a hands on review of this phone soon as we are in talk with the company closely.

What are your views about this phone? Leave a reply down below and I shall revert as soon as possible.
