Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge sales expected to hit 70 million

Samsung Galaxy S6 - Galaxy S6 Edge

Almost few weeks have gone by since you saw the Samsung Galaxy S6 with me and also a short tear-down of the Galaxy S6 Edge. I just got a ping from one of my insiders at Samsung that it has been almost a month since a CitiBank analyst predicted that Samsung would sell 50 million units of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The latest news is that the company would be hitting sales of approximately 70 million of the latest flagship smartphones.

Cementing the fact that both the smartphones are priced very high which makes it nearly impossible for common may to buy, there are 70 million rich people in the world which is great news. Both the S6 and the S6 Edge will be the biggest sellers in Galaxy series of smartphones ever. Samsung has gone big this time and broken all sales barriers. The first week of sales looks impressive and should go on in the same way for a few more weeks.

This sales news is truly good news for Samsung because they lost against quality smartphone makes Apple earlier. Nevertheless, there are always good times as well as bad. Let Samsung shine in the light now….
