Week 4 – Condensed Android
We are a bit late this time with the Weekly Report of Android and Technology news of the week. We were working on another video that would be live anytime soon. The Snapdragon 810 chipset controversy is still going on after recent news leaked out that the latest offering from Qualcomm supposedly overheats. This led to a rumour that Samsung had abandoned the chip and is opting for a home developed chipset. New rumours have sparked about disappointment from LG after the 810 failed to live up to expectations. The company has stated that this is just a rumour and the latest LG products launch will not be affected by this.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has got an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop in Russia. It will be soon rolled out for other countries soon. This new update has improved the overall performance of the device and has also made it more user friendly. Apple claims first spot in their home US mobile market and surprisingly the first spot of the Q4 2014 in China as well which is great news.
The LG G4 is the next flagship device from LG which supposed to be launched soon and also rumours state that it might be packed with a 3k display screen. This will be whole new step up in the mobile technology world. OnePlus names their custom Android ROM as Oxygen. It is supposed to be free of bloatware and unwanted animations.
