Samsung Galaxy S5In earlier news, the Samsung Galaxy S6 color options have been revealed. The company has begun seeding the Android 5.0 Lollipop update December 2014 for the Galaxy S5. The update was compatible with the Snapdragon 801 powered model and South Korea was the first to taste the update.

The update continued to roll out in stages through the United Kingdom, Spain, Poland and other countries. Galaxy S5 users of Verizon were the most recent to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Samsung has begun to release the update for the Exynos powered model (G900H) too. Kazakhstan is the firs market to get the update and the update will be rolled out in stages to other countries soon. People have been asking us for over a month as to when the Android Lollipop update for their location will be rolled out. Today we can say that it is time.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S5 has brought in minor enhancements like a slight tweak to Material design so that the user experience will not be different from the Android 4.4 KiKat OS. The responsiveness and speed has been improved because of the brand new ART Runtime. Apart from Samsung doing a great job, Xiaomi has launched a Mi Service Center in Goa while WhatsApp starts rolling out a voice calling feature.
