The Galaxy Note 4 is the last impressive launch by the South Korean handset manufacturer, Samsung. This new handset from Samsung surely packs a punch and boasts of some really impressive features. With the fourth iteration of its Note series, Samsung has tried to come up with a more premium design, better display and a powerful performance. Needless to say, it did not disappoint the Note fans across the world. The new phablet from Samsung is available in India at Rs.44,700/-.

With the Galaxy Note 4, Samsung has tried to break free from it’s plastic design philosophy and has lend a premium finish to the new device. The Galaxy Note 4 also comes with a faux leather rear panel like it’s predecessor which is the Galaxy Note 3. However, the rear panel still feels plasticky and not at par with other premium flagship devices available at this price point. Another premium touch lent by the handset manufacturer is a metal rim that runs across the length of the chassis for a classic look. Moreover, the handset measures measures 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm and is also quite light weight. The dimensions of the handset makes it easier to use with one hand as well.

The new Galaxy Note 4 comes with a qHD resolution which is 1400 x 2560 pixels. This is certainly one of the sharpest display among all handsets available as of now.

Features and Performance

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Note 4 with 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM, which is intended to offer an optimised performance to its users. The handset comes with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat operating system pre-installed for the convenience of users. Moreover, it boasts of a the trademark S-Pen which is standard with all Galaxy Note handsets. In Galaxy Note 4, Samsung has introduced features like Action Memo, Smart Select, Image Clip and Screen Write.

Samsung has equipped the new Galaxy Note 4 with a powerful 3220 mAh battery which is an upgrade from the 3000 mAh unit on the Galaxy Note 3. This battery has been designed to offer a prolonged usage duration to its users. All in all, the Galaxy Note 4 has lived up to the hype that had been created since the launch in India.
