Xiaomi Mi4 India Rs.19999

The wait in finally over as the popular and innovative Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched the Xiaomi Mi4 in India. The Xiaomi Mi4 is priced at Rs.19,999 which is around $320 and will be available commencing from 10th February 2015 via Flipkart. It will be sold in the same old registration process which was being followed for the sale of other smartphones like Redmi 1S and Mi3. The smartphone will only be available in White (16GB) with no LTE connectivity.

Summing up the features of the smartphone, the Mi4 sports a 5 inch LCD display screen with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, a Snapdragon 801 processor that is backed by 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that is not expandable. Apart from being decked with a 13MP primary camera and a 8MP secondary camera, the device has a 3080 mAh battery. The Mi4 will be officially running Android 4.4 KitKat and MIUI 6 on top.

The Xiaomi Mi4 is available in Black/White (16GB/64GB with LTE). We presume that Xiaomi is selling a lower end device with less storage, less color variants and no LTE connectivity in India to clear out the old stock. We do not expect them to make a lot of sales this time because people would go for the OnePlus One (Review) instead of the Xiaomi Mi4. What do you feel ?? We would like to know what you think.
