WhatsApp MessengerWe just got news from source that famous and heavily used applications which as WhatsApp Messenger, Tango, Viber, Line and mypeople has been blocked by the BTRC. The ban has been enforced because of security concerns by the Government by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission. Bangladesh is a huge state and there needs some action to be taken for the suspicious activity.

We are very sad to get such information. There is some kind of activity going on in Bangladesh and that is the reason the Government feels it right to enforce a ban on the top five Android, iOS and Windows applications that are used by millions across the globe. The Government of Bangladesh had got some information about a possible terrorist activity that would be carried out via these applications because it would be harder to track their whereabouts and plans. There is no information about when and what time the ban would be lifted but we presume it to run through today, tomorrow and maybe till the 22nd of January 2015. There is nothing to worry about now as the Government of Bangladesh is planning and strategizing ways to work out things. We would be giving an update from time to time about this.
